Cancellation

On rare occasions, JenniFUR's may need to cancel your appointment due to equipment failure, weather, illness, etc. Every effort will be made to contact Client in advance to reschedule.

 

24 hour policy

At JenniFUR's, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and we strive to accommodate your schedule as best as we can. However please be aware that frequent no-shows or late cancellations may lead a loss of appointment privileges or the requirement to prepay for future appointments. To assist you in managing your schedule, we send multiple reminders leading up to your appointment including 1 hour before your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule in less than 24 hours before your appointment, a late cancellation fee of $50 {or up to 100% of the scheduled services may apply. For missed appointments without any prior notification, the full amount of your scheduled services will be charged to your account, or a minimum fee of $50}.

Card On File OR Deposit

In order to book a grooming appointment a card on file or $50 non-refundable deposit in lieu of card on file is required!

At JenniFUR’s Grooming by Design, we understand that life can be unpredictable. However, to ensure we can continue providing the best for your furry friends, we have a policy regarding no-shows and last-minute cancellations. If you provide less than 24 hours notice or fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, your card on file will be charged or deposit will be forfeited.

In order to re-schedule your appointment, a fresh, non-refundable deposit matching the grooming cost will be necessary if card on file is not kept. Please keep in mind that any deposits not used can be transferred to your next appointment or used towards grooming on the same day. However, a new deposit is required confirm your new booking.

Pre-booking appointments

At JenniFUR, we know that a healthy dog is a happy dog. Ensuring your furry friend looks, smells, and feels great is vital for their overall wellness. To maintain consistent care and prevent last-minute bookings, we suggest scheduling your grooming appointments three months in advance. Your dog's healthy skin and coat deserve top-notch care, and we are here to do just that!

 

Keeping up with a frequency of: no more than an 8 week schedule for Complete Styling sessions

And with-in 12 weeks for Bath/Tidy-up services is highly recommended. If you need to cancel/reschedule we understand things can change and will do our best to accommodate you. (Please follow 24 hr cancellation policy)

Payment

Payment is due at time of service. 

JenniFUR’s grooming by design is a very small business and fees add up fast and can take a large chunk out of our bottom line. We understand that many people rely on credit/debit card payments and have added the credit card processing for your convenience, but please note there is a $5 flat rate fee for all payments by credit card that will be at your cost. JenniFUR's also accepts cash & personal checks with no added cost. [Checks returned NSF WILL incur a fee of $35, plus any fee my bank may charge].

Matted Coat

In the instance that your pet has been deemed matted by your stylist, you will be notified. Matting can cause irritation, redness, sores, hematomas, skin breakdown, etc. Heavy matting will not be brushed out and a shave-down may be necessary for the comfort and safety of your pet. Your stylist will make you aware of mats on your dog, the risks associated with them, as well as create a plan to accommodate your pet.
